Hi, I’m Treasa Edmond

I’m a business strategist, consultant, and coach. I work with you to solve your business problems, shape your strategies, processes, and systems, and build a sustainable business that supports the way you want to work and live.

I started my writing and editing business more than 20 years ago, and I still run a client-service business today. I know how hard it can be to step back and work on your own business while you’re busy serving clients. You get my best brainwork and experience in the form of consulting mixed with a smidge of coaching. Whether we’re solving one problem or I’m helping you building a more sustainable business, I bring the same consulting and business strategy skills I use when working with my corporate clients.

Two ways to work together

Some business problems can be addressed in one conversation. If you need an outside perspective, direct recommendations, and a practical plan for one immediate challenge, the 60-minute Strategy Hour may be the right fit.

If you’re making a more significant change or working through several connected decisions, the VIP Business Accelerator gives us time to shape the strategy, put it into practice, and adjust as new questions and challenges emerge.

VIP Business Accelerator

Choose 90 days, 6 months, or 12 months of business strategy, consulting, and coaching.

Packages start  at $1500

I created the VIP Business Accelerator to actively support freelancer business owners and consultants who are ready to make meaningful changes in their businesses, with a focus on growth or efficiency. The first three months are designed to be intensive.

We’ll start with a 90-minute session where we evaluate your current business, look at what you want to focus on, and develop a roadmap that will allow us to find solutions that fit your goals and circumstances. Once we have the roadmap in place, we get to work. We meet every other week for strategy and coaching, and you’ll work on implementation between calls. We’ll work together closely for 3, 6, 9, or 12 months during which you have access to a private coaching space that contains all of your call recordings and transcripts, all resources you need, implementation guides, and your DMs and conversations with me.

Think of it as “Treasa in your pocket.” You can bring me any business questions during our engagement, and I’ll answer as soon as possible. You can send them via DM, voice note, or as a forum message (if you have attachments or want to add more detail).

We’ll look at your business, decide what needs to happen, develop a plan of action, and then you’ll implement as we go. I’ll be there to provide accountability, work through questions with you, and help you adjust as you see what’s working. That ongoing work is how we build momentum. If we continue beyond the first three months, the work becomes less intensive, with the same access and support.

Everything we do is tailored to your business. You’ll walk away having implemented systems and practices tailored to your business, not a generic formula or cookie-cutter solution that makes your business look like everyone else’s.

  • One of the best decisions I’ve made as a freelancer.

From the very first meeting, I could tell that she gets it–what’s going well in my business and where I can do better. She immediately came up with an actionable roadmap that’s already helping me earn more money without working more hours, while focusing on the aspects of my business that I enjoy the most.

Strategy Hour

One Hour, One Problem

$225

When you’re facing a business problem, you don’t always need another resource or course. Sometimes you need to talk it through with someone who can ask the right questions, offer experienced advice, and help you find a solution that fits your business.

A Strategy Hour gives us dedicated time to work on one challenge with a blend of coaching and consulting. It might be setting your prices, finding clients, explaining the value of your work, or deciding how you want your business to grow. You may be weighing several options or have already tried a few things without getting the results you need.

Before we meet, you’ll answer a few questions about your business and what you’d like help with. I’ll use those answers to prepare for our conversation.

During our hour together, we’ll work through the problem, discuss what you’ve tried, and explore possible solutions. I’ll bring questions, recommendations, and an outside perspective, challenge assumptions when needed, and look at what makes sense for your circumstances.

After the call, I’ll take time to consider what we discussed and do any additional research needed. Then I’ll send you a written strategy and implementation report with my recommendations, the reasoning behind them, and practical steps for putting them into action.

The session and report work together to provide you with a plan you can act on immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the right kind of support for me?

If you’re tired of undercharging, struggling to land great clients, or feeling stuck in a cycle of feast and famine, I’m here to help. My approach is built around you: your business, your goals, and the kind of life you actually want. Whether you’re brand new or looking to scale, I want to give you the strategies, clarity, and confidence you need to achieve your goals.

Is this coaching, consulting, or business strategy?

It’s a combination of all three, with the mix depending on what will be most useful for you right now. Sometimes I’ll ask questions that help you examine your assumptions and decide what fits your goals and circumstances. Other times, I’ll analyze the problem, recommend an approach, or help you create the strategy or structure you need.

You won’t be left to figure everything out on your own, and I won’t hand you a generic formula and expect you to make your business fit in it.

Which option should I choose?

The Strategy Hour is designed for one focused business problem or decision that we can address in a 60-minute conversation. You’ll get an experienced outside perspective, direct recommendations, and a practical plan for what to do next. It’s usually more consulting than coaching, but there are elements of both.

The VIP Business Accelerator is a better fit when you’re making a more significant change, working through several connected decisions, or want continued strategic support while you put changes into practice. If I had to choose one option for my clients, it would be this one because of the results my Accelerator clients report.

What if I don’t know what’s holding me back?

That’s exactly what working with me does. It helps you find the problems and things that need tweaked. Sometimes, you need an outside perspective to identify blind spots, uncover opportunities, and create a clear action plan. If you feel like you’re spinning your wheels but not getting anywhere, I’ll help you figure out what’s missing and what to do next.

Sometimes identifying the real problem is the first piece of strategy work we need to do.

How long can we work together?

The Strategy Hour is a single 60-minute session focused on one immediate challenge. You can book as many as you want, however. If you want to work on one problem at a time, as your budget allows, this is a good option.

The VIP Business Accelerator is available in 90-day, 6-month, and 12-month options. The right length depends on the changes you’re making and how much support you want as you put the strategy into practice.

What if I’m just starting out?

You don’t need to have an established business before we work together. We can look at your services, pricing, positioning, or how you plan to find clients and build a business strategy that fits the way you want to work.

If I think one of my offers is more support than you need right now, I’ll tell you.

What if I’m still not sure?

No problem. Book a 20-minute consultation call and tell me a little about what’s happening in your business and the kind of support you’re looking for. I’m not interested in pressuring you or giving you a hard sales pitch. The conversation is a chance for us to decide whether working together makes sense.
