Ever feel like no matter how much you work, distractions keep pulling you off course? Or that your best ideas come when you finally step away from the noise?
That’s exactly what we’re tackling this month.
Deep Work isn’t just another productivity book. It’s about reclaiming your ability to focus—so you can do more meaningful work, not just more work. Especially relevant if you’ve ever:
What makes this book different?
Instead of vague advice like “just stay off your phone,” Newport lays out a clear system for training your brain to focus, structuring your time for deep concentration, and producing your best work without burning out.
I love reading, and I read a lot of books (one or two a week) just for fun. But for the book club books, I’m taking a slightly different approach.
I want to read reflectively—to truly engage with the material, think about how it applies to my life and business, and use it as a tool for growth.
This means taking notes, journaling about key insights, and actively discussing ideas with our community. If you want to go beyond just consuming books and start applying what you learn, I invite you to join me! I’ll even provide the resources you need to make the process easier.
If you'd rather read for the pleasure of it and avoid any stress, that's fine too!
This is a come as you are book club. No mandates, no requirements, just a bunch of work besties reading books together.
Our discussion call is a no-stress gathering. Join us if you read 10 pages, the entire book, or none of the book!
Life happens. We get busy, have emergencies, or just lose track of time. Even if you don't finish the book, I hope you'll join us on the call anyway. I always learn as much from the discussions as I do the books!
